I suppose it was inevitable. Just like no star sports player can go undefeated, eventually Pixar had to present a movie that didn’t live up to the high standards we’ve all come to expect from them. While there are some entertaining things to like about Cars 2, particularly for younger viewers, as a whole this is a terribly weak movie. I still remember the marketing blitz behind Cars in the weeks leading up to the movie’s original theatrical release.
