I’m not spoiling anything by saying there’s an injury tonight – after all, CBS has been promoting the episode with that information all week. It’s a shame how much of the show’s big moments are spoiled in advance by the network’s own marketing team and this is another example of that. At the same time, it’s been nice to see that commercial aired as I watched other shows this week... 

I was ready to write some sort of interesting introduction for this week’s episode, and then I got caught up in the recap of last week’s show. I still don’t understand what’s going on this season. You have a guy who has pretty well alienated both tribes, isolating himself from the men and the women, and he’s somehow running the show. Explain that? It’s not even like Colton is leveraging... 

Last week the women finally found some form of victory, winning both a reward and an immunity challenge. We also got rid of that jerk Matt, which I’m still giddy over. Meanwhile, advertising has promoted this week’s episode as having a game changing movie – specifically, a move that will change the game forever. I find that hard to believe, but we’ll see as the episode unfolds. We begin...

Welcome back for a new season of Survivor. This season, the 24th for the series, finds a few new elements to bring into play, as well as some old ones. For instance, this is the first new season in a couple that sees no returning players. No Boston Rob. No Coach. No veterans whatsoever. Secondly, there is no form of Redemption Island this season, which means players who get voted out are out for good.... 

Well, here we are. Fifteen episodes and a number of survivors later, we’re at the end of South Pacific. It’s been fun, albeit predictable with most contestants playing their strategies safe and sticking to their word. Only two major plays occurred (John Cochran turning on his tribemates and Brandon handing away immunity only to be voted out), but between Cochran’s fish-out-of-waterness and Brandon’s... 

It’s the last week for Survivor: South Pacific, with a regular episode tonight and the series finale on this weekend (Sunday). It’s been a decent season – maybe not the most interesting at times but also not the most boring. If anything, it’s been rather predictable, with few players making major moves to alter the game. As Probst pointed out last week, the players have said for a while...
