For the first time in all of my years of doing this, I’m not incredibly thrilled with my end of the year list. As usual, there are movies appearing on other people’s lists that I haven’t gotten to see, and unfortunate timing means I won’t be seeing them for another couple of weeks at the best. Once upon a time, we played with video episodes of the podcast, and Rafe was sad. See, Rafe has some background in video production, and what we were doing with the podcast went against everything. The New Year is here and a year of good and bad movies lie ahead of us ripe for the picking. That sounds a little optimistic I know, but after the hits of 2010 like Shutter Island, Tron Legacy, Toy Story 3, and True Grit, I can’t help but look forward to another year of film watching.
