When we last left the adventures of the demigod Perseus, he had survived a horrific remake of an already flawed and sadly dated (although much beloved) iconic film. While there was a lot of room for improvement from the original, the remake wound up introducing a slew of new problems ranging from 3D effects that were so bad that the movie became the example of what not to do with 3D to a plot so riddled...

In Hollywood’s tradition of remaking 80’s films, Louis Leterrier brings us an up-to-date version of the 80’s action-adventure Clash of the Titans. However, unlike other titles that Hollywood has updated, this one may have been begging for it. Technology has finally caught up to the needs of this film to depict the epic creatures and Gods in the glory and magnitude needed to convey this story....

The fact that it’s taken this long to bring my Clash of the Titans review to light should quickly expose an overview of my thoughts on the movie: it’s bad. While I’m a big fan of the original, I can easily see how there is plenty of room for a remake. The effects (classic Harryhausen effects that they are) don’t hold up well in the contemporary world. The music is cheesy. And, of course, there’s... 

My guess is that Avatar is going to rock, at least in the trailer department. Based on the number of awesome trailers that have hit the Internet over the past few days, I can only imagine what it’ll be like to sit through the trailers in front of Avatar.
