Cast Your Vote for the Final Week of Hitchcock Movies

When we selected Alfred Hitchcock as our artist of the month, it was hard to whittle down a total of eight movies to focus on from his body of work. Let’s be honest - everyone is going to have their favorite Hitchcock film and no matter what, someone’s going to be disappointed at what we left out. So we decided to give our readers a say in what movies we selected for the month.

While we have the first three weeks of Hitchcock films tracked out, we left the last week as a “reader’s choice”. We’ve put a poll up on the front page of the site, listing some of the Hitchcock films we aren’t getting around to this month. Cast your vote for the one you’d like us to watch. The top two movies by October 25th will be what we wind up watching the last week of the month, whether it’s another suspenseful selection like To Catch a Thief or a more comedic enterprise like the original Mr. & Mrs. Smith (which has nothing to do with Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie).

One thing of note: a couple of Hitchcock’s movies didn’t make the list, most notably the director’s single Oscar winning film Rebecca. Since we’ll only have a week to get the final two movies in, we had to go with movies that will be readily available through sources like Netflix. For some reason, the Internet-based renter has Rebecca unavailable, meaning it, as well as a few other films, couldn’t make our list.
