Repo Men hits theaters this week, and brings with it a story we’ve seen before. Much like many other sites out there, we can’t help but notice the similarities between the Jude Law flick and Repo! The Genetic Opera, the industrial rock opera that has gained a cult following on DVD.

One of the side projects I started working on before Widescreen Warrior was a website focused on comedy. As part of that, I started to really pay attention to some of the stand-up comedians on television today and I found quite a few gems that a lot of people aren’t even aware of. Mitch Fatel is one of those comedians.

One of my favorite sitcoms in recent years is How I Met Your Mother. The show has managed to hit just the right pulse with some great catchphrases (that it hasn’t worn out) and social insights combined with a killer cast. Frankly, I don’t actually care how Ted (Josh Radnor) meets the future mother of his kids.

All good things must come to an end, and it’s time to say goodbye to Adrien Monk as Monk begins its final season.

This week Psych returns to the USA Network with its fourth season premiere. All that you expect from the show - clever culture references, popping dialogue, and the great chemistry of Gus and Shawn - is back in full force as the series kicks off its new season.

Burn Notice sees its mid-season finale this Thursday, as Michael, Fiona, Sam, and Maddy take a break for a few months. If past seasons have been any indication, the episode will be one that will leave us hanging, with plenty to talk about until the show returns in January.

Throughout all of his films, Quentin Tarantino has had two major things going for him - even in the movies I didn't care for. One, he has a love of film that shows in his own movies, with tributes and homages to whatever style of film he's currently working in.
