Don’t be too surprised if this week’s encounter starts out as a bit of a brick wall.  There is a very clear step up in difficulty going into the last wing of Dragon Soul, when compared to the first half of the raid.  While not every boss will be tossing curve-ball mechanics, all of them will press the raid’s raw numbers – success will depend on players’ abilities with their own class as... 

The goal this week is to finish the Siege of Wyrmrest portion of the Dragon Soul raid.  Three of the four bosses in this opening segment have been cleared — only one to go.  Next up, Hagara the Stormbinder.  A friendly reminder that the encounter discussion here is based upon the 10-man normal difficulty version of this raid.  If you want to talk Raid Finder, I’d say try it out for yourself. ... 

It hasn’t taken any time at all for guilds and pick-up groups alike to tear through the Dragon Soul raid, and since progress is being made so quickly, we’re covering the next two bosses this week.  Things get a little more complicated this time around, but still nothing to stress over.  Some of the mechanics are even rather amusing!  So let’s quit wasting time and get started before we’re...

Up to this point, our stroll through Heroic Firelands has been fairly smooth, for the most part.  Well, get ready for some surprise speed bumps, as the last three bosses are easily the hardest of the bunch, as we start drifting away from a simple new mechanic or two and begin seeing radical changes to the encounters as a whole.  Large sections of old strategies may very well be invalidated going...
