Since I’m editorializing today, I might as well speak up on World of Warcraft matters, especially since our “regular” WoW columns have gone into hibernation (don’t worry, Confessions of a Guild Leader and Raids of Warcraft will both be back when the pandas arrive, if not sooner). We already have an awesome review of The Cabin in the Woods and I have little more to add to that sentiment: this is a game-changing movie and should definitely be taken in by anyone who has a penchant for these kinds of films. Even days later the movie has stuck with me and continues to make me consider the consequences of the story. More than just the consequences within the movie, I keep thinking...

When it comes to horror and suspense, it doesn’t get much better than the original trailblazer, Edgar Allen Poe. Yet, Poe’s world has gotten a rather horrid treatment when it comes to film. Perhaps it’s because Poe’s creations were more about the dark recesses of the mind – something about his prose just can’t make the leap to the big screen. Maybe it’s because we’re so enamored... 

The marketing for this week’s episode has tried its best to make it look like something interesting will happen and it won’t just be a predictable installment like we’re pretty much destined for with the remaining episodes. I don’t believe it. It might be fun to see Kat come out of her shell a little more like the commercials have advertised, but the few episodes where that’s happened has...
