Widescreen Warrior Podcast #1 – Rebirth

wsw001After much anticipation, the new show is born. Long term fans might not notice many changes beyond a new name, new logo, and new delivery schedule, but hopefully this rebirth will allow us to keep generating the show for some time to come. This week we kick off the new show with looks at Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, dueling disagreement over Captain Phillips, and a look at several disappointing films Thomas has taken in (including Carrie and Machete Kills). As usual, we throw in some movie news, what we’ve been watching lately, and leave the door open for your opinions and direction when we’re back in two weeks with episode 2.

Nice to hear you back on the internet again. I wish you satisfaction with the rebooted podcast. I was hoping for a podcast discussing the upcoming films of winter 2013 and knowing what you were looking forward to, but with the bi-weekly format that might be a little hard to do.

Still I enjoyed the conversations on the show. Also wondering if Sometimes Tim or “Queen of the Podcast” Margaret Williams will be making any returns? Looking forward to the return of the live shows and hoping I’ll be able to participate in them.

And as Stan Lee would always end: “Excelsior!”
