Weekly Blend #295 – Movies Take Over the Super Bowl

I promised we would try some new things since we came back, and this week is representative of that. First, we’re joined by our friend Kelly, who adds a female voice back to the show even if it does mean some razzing for liking Channing Tatum and Grey’s Anatomy. Secondly, we open up the Skype-line to see who calls in. This week it’s the latest addition to the Widescreen Warrior writing staff: Thomas Mariani. With new contributors in tow we offer a wide varieties of opinion on Chronicle, discuss the appeal of 3D presentations of the Star Wars movies to different generations, and talk about how movies are starting to overtake the Super Bowl much like they have Comic Con.

Another great episode, especially that “Thomas” guy. You should totally put him on more episodes… though I have no real connection with him. ;P
